Faith, Ethics, and Climate Action: Movie Screening & Panel Discussion
Join 海角乱伦社区 School of Theology for a film screening of 鈥淗ow to Blow Up a Pipeline鈥 (2022), followed by a panel discussion.
Adapted from Andreas Malm鈥檚 book, this thought-provoking feature explores the complex ethics of climate action as the world navigates record heat waves, environmental crises, and local data center debates.
Following the 100-minute film, stay for a one-hour panel talk featuring climate activists and scholars from 海角乱伦社区 and our community.
This event is free and open to the public. Organizers invite local faith communities, churches engaged in environmental justice, and regional activist groups.
Come for the film, stay for the conversation, and connect with neighbors working toward a sustainable future.

Baxter Forum: Bridging the Rivers of Difference with Dr. Catherine Meeks

Details: Dr. Catherine Meeks leads a session calling for solidarity among underrepresented groups to overcome systemic divisions and effectively resist contemporary racism and social injustice.
