海角乱伦社区 volunteers are dedicated alumni, students, families, and friends of the university who participate in sponsored college events and organizations, work to engage and excite their classmates and peers, and provide guidance for current students.

Volunteer Opportunities

Many of our volunteer opportunities are available both in person and virtually, making it easy to stay involved and make a difference from wherever you are.

Alumni Association

Help build and strengthen the 海角乱伦社区 alumni community, uphold our shared values and traditions, and carry the spirit of 海角乱伦社区 forward for future generations.

Blue & Grey Club

Classroom Speaker

Share your professional expertise and career insights with 海角乱伦社区 students as a classroom speaker or panelist. Time commitment is approximately one to two hours.

Externship Host

Give a 海角乱伦社区 student a firsthand look at your workplace and industry by hosting a one- to two-day job shadow. Externships give students the opportunity to explore career paths, workplace culture, and the day-to-day experience in your field.

Golden Greyhounds Planning Committee

Help plan meaningful events and programs for alumni who graduated 50+ years ago. Celebrate 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 legacy and keep lifelong connections strong within this special community.

Informational Interviews

Meet virtually with a 海角乱伦社区 student interested in learning more about your profession and career journey. Share your experiences and insights in approximately one hour.

Internship Host

Help a 海角乱伦社区 student gain meaningful professional experience by offering an internship within your organization or industry. Internship hosts provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to apply classroom learning in a real-world setting.

Requirements and Expectations

Embodies drive and passion to actively participate in campus events.
Makes a personally meaningful gift to the 海角乱伦社区 Scholarship Fund or other institutional priorities.
Aids the Development Office with peer outreach and actively works to connect with others to ensure up-to-date contact information.
Aids the Alumni Office by continually engaging fellow alumni with information on how to be an involved alum.
Maintains regular contact with their staff liaison to identify potential volunteers, provides feedback on the program, and suggests other opportunities for engagement and fundraising.
Adheres to the requirements and responsibilities of the specific volunteer group.
Serves as an educated ally for 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Center for Inclusive Excellence initiatives, engaging underrepresented alumni and students to participate in leadership, volunteer opportunities, and the life of the University.

Recognition and Benefits

Free admission for volunteer and one guest to ticketed athletic events (contact the Office of Alumni & Family Engagement for tickets, when applicable).
Two tickets to a Vespers service of volunteer's choice.
